Beyond the Horizon: An Evening of Astronomy & Legacy!

Heritage Trust EC members had an unforgettable evening of planet and star gazing at the Astronomical Telescope Dome Observatory at MS University, hosted by @ashishelvis, a Heritage Trust member and lecturer in the Physics Department.

Using the historic German telescope brought from London by Sayajirao Gaekwad III in the 1930s, we observed Venus, Saturn, and Jupiter along with their satellites, nebulae, and prominent stars from well-known constellations.

We were honoured to have HH Radhika Raje Gaekwad join us in this celestial experience! A heartfelt thanks to Dr. Rajinikant Makwana for granting us access to the observatory and to the wonderful Astronomy students of MSU for curating and facilitating this stellar night.
