Natyakatha: Meera

The icon of Indian classical dance, Padma Vibhushan Dr. Sonal Mansingh regaled Barodians with her rendition of her Nathya Katha “Meera”, the story of the legendary Meerabai on February 18th, 2024 at the auditorium of the SSG Medical College.
This was part of her six-city tour, organized by the Gujarat State Sangeet Natak Sahitya Academy in collaboration with IGNCA Regional Chapter, Vadodara. Heritage Trust was one of the supporters of this event. A large number of dance enthusiasts graced the occasion.
Members of the Royal family of Baroda, Rajmata Shubhanginiraje Gaikwad and Maharani Radhikaraje Gaekwad felicitated Dr. Mansingh and her troupe.
